How much space do I need for an ice machine?

Find a proper place for the ice maker by width/height/depth(product size 10.63W*16.4D*16.7H inch), plus 12″ in width to allow airflow and 10″ in depth to open the ice basket cover on top

What type of water should be used? Tap, spring, distilled?
